The subjects were 3 university male swimmers and\n3 university female swimmers who practiced swimming on a daily basis. They swam 400m round\nswimming and 400m shuttle swimming at maximum effort. We made the square course with sides of 10\nmeters. They swam round swimming on the course. This study was recorded using a digital video camera\nand an underwater CCD camera. The calculation items were swimming velocity (SV), stroke time (ST),\nstroke length (SL), stroke depth (SD), maximum shoulder joint angle (MSA), maximum elbow joint angle\n(MEA), rating of perceived exertion (RPE).\nAs a result, a significant positive correlation was found between the SL of round swimming and SL\nof shuttle swimming (p<0.01). A significant positive correlation was found between the MEA of round\nswimming and MSA of shuttle swimming. (p<0.05).\nAs a subject of future research, only one stroke of the left hand was analyzed in this study, but it\nis considered necessary to analyze multiple strokes because the difference between the left and right\nstrokes is considered to be larger in ocean swimming than in normal crawl swimming.
