First of all, cities and villages have been built up and farming has been widely settled down. Darai Town, Tairai Town, Jingxing Town has gradually been built in Jalaid Hoosyoo. At that time, compared to cities, the number of villages was spread wildly. The herdsmen who lived in removed place or inland of prairie would live in the yurt when they went to herd, while influenced by Han Chinesemany Mongolians began to live a resident life. Because of Mongolians’ Land opening policy, frequently population moving had accelerated process of Mongolians’ losing their lands. Mongolians went back from the north once again and it was impossible to recapture their lands from Han Chinese. Because of the weak consciousness of owning land, Mongolians had lost their lands. Furthermore, herdsmen who lived in the further south of Mongolia lived in farming life, and the people who lived in the further north were focus on herding. On the one hand, there was no more a large of livestock in the south. On the other hand, the lands for herding were reduced in the north. The number of nomadic families was significantly reduced.
