All games which I targeted were games of the F-league being in the top level of\nour country. After tabulating a cross-table between the various factors when possessing one’s ball and\noffensive outcomes, the relationship was statistically tested. As a result, the following findings were\nobtained:\n1） In the relationship between the way to get the ball and the outcome of offense, it was indicated\nthat a newly started offense such as a corner kick or free kick significantly frequently ended in shooting,\nwhereas clearance significantly often led to a turn-over.\n2） With respect to the association between the location where to play finally and offensive\noutcomes, in case that a team played the final play in their own field, that play tended to end in a turnover,\nbut in case that near the other team’s goal, it tended to end in shooting. These issues indicated a\ntendency similar to many other goal-type ball games.\n3） A significant association between whether shooting was successful or not and the location where\nthe final play was performed was found, showing that shooting from the middle position in front of the\ngoal was significantly often successful.\nThese results reveal the offensive characteristics in futsal games of the F-league. In futsal, the\noffenses initiated from set pieces such as corner kicks and free kicks that are unmarked tend to end in\nshooting.
