However, when considering a future beyond that of U12 basketball ages, because they do not\nquit basketball but continue to play it, the following problems are found in fast breaks in U12 basketball\ngames:\n1） After the primary break fails, there is no opportunity to lead to the secondary attack made to\ncompensate for it.\n2） Although individual skills should be developed in U12 basketball ages, as endurance is required\nfor the fast break, a longer period is spent on endurance training than individual skill training so that\nindividual skills are sufficiently improved.\n3） Many uses of the one-man break make the opportunity to learn decision-making that will be needed\nin future less because of its simple strategy and less maneuvering.\nIn addition, as one of the measures to improve the problems stated above, we proposed the restriction\nof rules specific to U12 basketball and systematic spreading/enlightening correct knowledge to U12\nbasketball coaches by the Japan Basketball Association or its prefectural
