A questionnaire\nsurvey was conducted with new teachers (N = 40) who had completed a university teacher-training\ncourse and become teachers. The questionnaire inquired about work environment, feelings of difficulty\nat school, subjective adjustment, motivation, feeling of exhaustion, and support needs. Furthermore,\ntheir own goals and what they expect of the teacher-training course were inquired using a free\ndescription format. As a result, 23 valid responses were collected. The results indicated that new\nteachers had difficulties in “student guidance” and “guidance in school courses.” New teachers were well\nmotivated and had feelings of high responsibility, but also felt many difficulties and a strong need for\nsupport.
